Clif James is highly professional and knowledgeable. Available, reliable, prepared and consistently on time. I would not hesitate a moment to refer him to others needing the services of a realtor. He immediately researched issues to prevent problems in the sale of the property such as TOPA in Washington, DC , the eviction of an occupant and installed solar panels. Also, he conducted a market analysis of area housing which proved to be helpful in setting the selling price of the property. The yard required clearing of junk and mowing of very tall grass. He went to the neighborhood and found a reliable contractor I could hire to do the work. I have worked with other realtors, Clif is the best. He supported me throughout the process.

My husband and I had the good fortune to work with Clif James as our realtor this past spring. From Day 1, we knew we were in good hands. Clif has decades of experience in the residential real estate business and is extremely knowledgeable about both the process (from listing to closing) and the local real estate market. Clif is an excellent communicator and kept us apprised every step of the way. He is a professional with high integrity and we had the utmost trust that he always had our best interests in mind. Thanks to Clif’s skill and hard work, our house was listed on a Thursday and by Monday we had ten offers – all at least $20K above our asking price. You won’t find a better realtor in the DMV than Clif James

Clif was an excellent realtor. He helped us purchase our first single family home and provided us with attention and support. He visited several homes more than once with us as we narrowed our selection down. Additionally, he provided much needed support after we signed our contract and realized we were working with a seller that did not want to honor some of the terms we agreed upon following our home inspection. Clif really does go above and beyond to provide customer service and has a firm grasp of the market trends. We will continue to be in touch with Clif. I tease him that I'd like to become a realtor now myself, if he's taking on an apprentice!

Clif was instrumental in helping my family relocate from Chicago to Maryland. He was patient and trudged along with us for 8 months until we found the perfect home! Now not only our realtor, he has become family!

I had a very positive experience working with Mr. Clifton James during my home search. It is my opinion that he adhered to all the standards required of a realtor whose objective was to accomplish my goal of moving. He determined that it would first be necessary to sell the home in which I was residing and use the proceeds to purchase another. He then prepared, presented, and obtained responses and signatures on all paperwork necessary for this process. He explained and answered all my questions while making certain that all time constraints were met. When looking at prospective homes, Mr. James was punctual for all appointments, knowledgeable about each showing, respectful of my opinions, accommodating of my time and accessible with regard to answering my follow-up calls and emails. As it turned out, my home search extended for quite a period of time but with the help and encouragement of Mr. James I finally achieved my goal.
